I'm having issues with my copy of Unity. Whenever I load up a project or make a new one, I get an error saying "Failed executing external process for 'Bake Runtime' Job". I have been browsing other topics, and I tried to follow the solutions suggested.

So after disabling auto light generation, I check the two boxes people say to keep enabled. Sure enough, they're enabled. Then I decide to clear my GI Cache. After this, I click Generate Lighting and I get the same error. It's been doing this all day and I've uninstalled and reinstalled my version of Unity more times than I can count.

Update - Did a full refresh of my PC today. Upon reinstalling Unity Unity 2017.3.1, the same bug continued to plague me.
----------
Update #2 - After some jiggery-pokery trying to get a few attempts to work, I have resolved the issue. Turns out installing 2017.3.1 via the Unity Hub rather than using the standalone installer fixed the problem. I haven't ran into any problems since.

Update #3 - Ran into the same problem again. Still using 2017.3.1 via the Unity Hub and it's begun happening. I suspect it could be a corrupt installation, but have no idea how to fix this. Please help me, I am at my wit's end.
